Moving away from home for the first time is a situation faced by many of our students when starting University, but our accommodation options enable you to make the right choice to feel at home while studying here. 

If you apply to study with us, we guarantee you a room in our accommodation for your first year of study.

To be eligible for our guarantee, you need to be able to tick all of these boxes:

Approximately two thirds of our rooms are en-suite, students in en-suite accommodation have their own shower room, toilet and washbasin.

Available on both the Bishop Otter campus and Bognor Regis Campus, our catered en-suite accommodation consists of small, purpose built modern buildings of 12-18 bedrooms sharing 1 kitchen for every 6 rooms.

Rooms are fitted with a 'pod' containing shower, lavatory and washbasin.

£177.17 per week for 37 weeks. 40 week accommodation licences are availabe for students undertaking Education degrees.

We offer 124 en-suite rooms arranged in 3 blocks of 36 to 47 rooms.

Each block is divided into units comprising of 4 en-suite bedrooms sharing a communal kitchen and dining area.

This accommodation is popular with students because of its sense of community.

£152.25 per week for 37 weeks

  • Fishbourne Road East (25 minute walk to Bishop Otter campus)

Stockbridge has 405 bedrooms across the development and each apartment includes single study bedrooms fitted with a 'pod' containing a shower, lavatory and washbasin.  Modern and spacious kitchens are shared between five, six or seven students. Stockbridge is based in the heart of the city and is a 2 minute walk from the popular Chichester Gate entertainment complex which hosts the cities cinema and bowling centre as well as popular restaurants and bars.

Newly built for September 2018, Fishbourne Road East has 134 bedrooms and each apartment includes single study bedrooms with ensuite facilities. Kitchen facilities will be shared by 6 students. 

£136.99 per week for 39 weeks. 51 week licences are also availabe.

Catered with shared facilities

Bishop Otter campus:

All these rooms are single study rooms with shared bathroom facilities. These rooms are available on a catered basis but do have shared kitchen facilities.

All facilities are shared with six other students On the Chichester campus we have a 118 standard rooms available.

Accommodation consists of blocks of 10 or 12 rooms –5 or 6 rooms to a floor.

All rooms have a wash basin and share 1 bathroom, 1 shower, 2 toilets and a kitchen on each floor.

£161.35 for 37 weeks. 

Bognor Regis campus:

Longbrook offers the option of single or twin rooms on a catered basis with shared bathroom facilities. Each room has a wash hand basin.

£161.35 per week (single) or £166.25 (large) for 37 weeks. 

Charlotte House is a quiet block for those who prefer the quiet life. All are rented on a catered basis, with shared bathroom facilities  between six people.

£161.35 per week for 40 weeks.

Havenstoke Close is a cluster of 10 terrace houses located near to the Bishop Otter campus. This self-catered accommodation consists of single standard study bedrooms with a wash basin in each room, and shared bathroom and kitchen facilities. Each house has 4 bedrooms, bathroom and a communal kitchen and living area.

These catered halls of residence offer 40 rooms, each with with superior standard shared facilities shared between 5 students. 

£170.73 per week for 37 weeks.

We have rooms available which feature standard adaptations for wheelchair users. Each room is fitted with a panic alarm and has a either a large wet-room with shower seat or shower cubical area with seat, handrails and an additional panic alarm.

Each wheelchair user will have individual requirements depending on their level of mobility, so it's essential to talk to the Disability Coordinator ( by 31 March to make sure we allocate the most appropriate room, and implement any necessary adaptations before your arrival.

Amberley Hall, Chilgrove Hall and Harting Hall offer the best degree of comfort and convenience to wheelchair users, with its wide corridors and lobbies, automatic doors, dual power lifts and swipe-card entrance.

You would share a standard kitchen with three other students, and modifications have been made to the kitchen to suit individual needs.
