This module will enable you to further develop a healthy and safe dance practice, enriching your body knowledge to inform your application in contemporary dance technique and performance.
Practice will draw attention to dynamic alignment, core stability, placement and kinaesthetic awareness.
You will have developed an understanding of safe dance practice throughout Performance Technique 2 and Dance Technique 2. This provided you with the knowledge and skills for you to apply to your personal preparation (warm-up/cool-down) and safe practice in class (awareness of personal limitations and ability) as a means to support injury prevention.
