Once you’ve chosen your programme or research area to study it’s time to apply.

Entry requirements vary depending on the course and are indicated on the course page of this prospectus and our website. Typically, an upper or lower second class honours degree in a related subject area is required. Some programmes may also require relevant experience.

All admissions tutors are more than happy to meet you and have an informal discussion about the programme and your interests before you apply. You can contact the Admissions Team on admissions@chi.ac.uk or call 01243 816000.

When to Apply

Ideally, you should apply before 1st July. Please be aware that course numbers are capped and some courses may be full before this date so applying earlier is advisable. Late applications should still be submitted in the same way, but the University reserves the right not to consider them for programmes that have sufficient applications.

There is no recommended application date for PGCE programmes; however, once there are no vacancies left on a course it will be closed to new applications.
