This module focuses upon the practical application of science and mathematics to develop engineering solutions.
It is based on the problem-based engineering philosophy where teams of three to six students are challenged by a typical engineering problem that requires both theoretical and practical skills to solve. The latter is crucial to gain the skills and knowledge required to manage practical engineering projects and laboratory work at degree level in the future.
