This module will introduce you to oral history as a methodology, as well as the evaluation of oral sources by historians. You will seek to place oral history within the wider debates around history as a discipline, and as a methodological approach to studying past events and experiences.
You will also explore the ways in which oral sources have been used in different media, particularly in exhibitions, publications and museums, and to appraise these within a theoretical framework.
