This module will equip you with an in depth understanding and appreciation of the environmental landscape of work alongside the contextual knowledge, skills and confidence to be able to propose and implement sustainable, practicable and impactful solutions to organisational people issues.
It explores the contemporary role of the HR and Organisational Development professional in understanding human behaviour and organisational life which is needed to create People management products, practices, services and policies of measurable value and impact within an organisation for its stakeholders.
The learning sessions will provide you with the knowledge and confidence to operate in HR and OD at a strategic level in all types of organisational environment and to make a positive difference to the performance of the organisation and to the working lives of individuals.
It will also enable you to critically appreciate the complexity of an organisation’s operating environment and to analyse and evaluate the factors that impact the strategic decisions that an organisation needs to make about people and to apply this in practical and ethical ways to the work of HR and OD.
