This module will explore the issues and aims of curriculum planning for the 21st century. It will consider wider issues related to the curriculum for example the ongoing debate concerning the balance of knowledge and skills. It will explore the principles of taking account of children’s voice in their learning and the concept of personalised learning through tracking, assessment, target setting and planning.
