At the end of your second year, you will have the option to take a placement year in a workplace.
This provides you with the experience of working within an appropriate workplace setting, while being supported with career planning skills through preparatory workshops, such as exploring career options, researching work placement opportunities and networking with employers.
In the preparatory workshops, you will be supported in creating CVs and cover letters and developing your interviewing skills. You will gain an in-depth understanding of the application process for relevant roles and reflect on feedback from interviews and assessment centres to enhance your continued learning and development.
In the placement year, you will gain valuable sector-specific experience, including applied skills and knowledge building employability for your future career.
You will be supported throughout your placement in regular touchpoints where you will be encouraged to reflect on your learning and troubleshoot any issues or challenges that may arise.
