Strategic and Ethical Thinking

This module comprises two parts:

1 –  Self-reflection on your personal ethical values and;
2 – Applying this insight to critiquing existing and creating new strategies that incorporate relevant ethical and stakeholder considerations.

The module starts with an exploration of your own ethical beliefs, values and moral compass and the impact this has on your future careers and reflecting on your own strategic approach.

Throughout the module, you are introduced to a range of strategic, leadership/management/ethical and sustainable concepts, theories and models to analyse and evaluate current and prospective organisational strategies from competitive and ethical perspectives.

You will develop your ability to be more sophisticated in selecting and applying models, theories and research. This involves exploring how to apply fewer models more deeply and critically, and seeking opportunities to synthesise and sequence theory in preparation for a career as an entry-level strategist.
