This module examines the study of law and its relationship with the world of sport, exploring whether Sports Law exists as its own legal dimension or whether it is a collection of legal rules and principles.
This module will focus on the rules and regulation of sports domestically in the UK but also the development of the international framework of sporting regulation.
You will also look at the regulation and commercial development of sports as well as its relationship with other areas of law, including criminal law, contract law, tort law and human rights law.
