Module aims to address the tight financial control and a forward view of costs and risks that are essential attributes of senior managers as the business environment becomes more austere and stakeholders become more discerning. The module develops the critical financial sensitivity to cost accounting, risk assessment and forward cost management that is essential to senior managers responsible for complex programmes and businesses. The emphasis is on the financial understanding needed to underpin decisions in respect of resource and cost management while keeping risk at an acceptable level.
