Projects are collaborative exercises wherein students can work together in various ways to apply and celebrate their learning. Projects will develop an expanded understanding of contemporary theatre, exploring collaborative practice as a core (and additional) skillset for actors, directors and devisers.
You will explore a variety of methodologies for self/group-devised theatre, with 3 key approaches: storytelling, physical theatre, and adaptation. Each project aims to investigate key approaches and forms of contemporary theatre performance, identifying specific crafting devices and methodologies to develop work collaboratively, and apply learning from other modules.
