This module will introduce you to techniques in three areas of aerial practice; horizontal, vertical and harness based. You will consolidate your existing knowledge as you develop new skills and develop a healthy and safe aerial dance practice. You will improve your body knowledge and use it to inform your application in aerial dance technique and performance. Your practice will draw attention to dynamic alignment, core stability, placement and kinaesthetic awareness, and you will explore personal preparation (warm-up/cool-down) and safe practice in class (awareness of personal limitations and ability).
