This module will explore the relationship of physical activity and sedentary behaviour with both the development and control of non-communicable diseases (NCD), some of which are included in the International Classification for Functioning Core Sets. You will examine the pathophysiology of NCDs, the physiological responses to physical activity and key outcome measures associated with such disease states.
