This module will help you understand how post-1988 developments have led to the current education system. Through this module you will explore a range of contemporary issues in education and consider differing perspectives. In doing so, you will learn that contemporary issues can be contentious depending on the view of the stakeholder. As such, education through an interpretivist lens makes it difficult for all stakeholders to be satisfied with policy, practice and the politics of the time.
