This module critically examines the distinction in sport development – the development of sport and sport for development – as seen in contexts around the world. It explores issues that are particular to areas of the world and critiques the extent to which sport is contributing to and overcoming such issues. You will critically analyse various sport development agendas to inform your efforts to formulate your own sport development project in a country that is not the UK.
