This module aims to continue to equip you with an understanding of the core principles of citizenship as you examine variations in access to full citizenship in relation to class, sexual orientation, disability, age, ‘race’ and gender.
In doing so, you will study some common generalisations and assumptions about participation as citizens and to reflect upon the complex processes of social change involving inequality and exclusion, specifically the role of empathic outreach.
