It outlines the theory and key principles and practices of workforce planning and resourcing, managing and developing performance reward and talent retention.

It also aims to equip you with an appreciation of the interpersonal skills that are needed to manage people within various types of work organisations.

The session learning activities, tasks and literature provide a structure through which to locate these key People Management (HRM) practices within both the context of different organisations and the field of contemporary management from a national and international perspective
