You will look at the philosophies of Human Resource Management (HRM), current trends and developments, perspectives on HRM and the line managers role and also the impacts of globalisation on HRM practices e.g. structural workforce changes. Focus will also be on performance management, employee engagement and participation, employee recruitment and employee development.
