This module is designed to build the habits and attitudes that will ensure your creative independence. The module will introduce you to the skills you need to support yourself as an author, including knowledge of the publishing industry, the industry editing process, marketing and presentation.
There will be sessions with our two Visiting Professors, Kate Mosse and Alison MacLeod.
The module will conclude with The Publishing Panel, at which agents and editors will speak about the publishing industry. You will also have the opportunity to speak to the panel about your own work.
