It will introduce you to basic management principles and contextualise approaches to competitive strategy and competitive advantage. You will examine indicative sectors across the service environment such as tourism, events, retail, and hospitality and explore how competitive advantage is influenced by key issues such as entrepreneurship and the impact of globalisation on business strategy.
