Contemporary issues from the UK and around the world are used to demonstrate the benefits and limitations experienced by sport as it develops according to business and commercial principles.

You will be looking at concepts and terms from sport business and sport management which are viewed through social science perspectives to challenge issues of control, exploitation and dominance.

The learning outcome of this module is to help you appreciate the opportunities and constraints of these relationships ahead of your employment in the sports industry landscape.
