Charity Comedy Night with Joe Wells and Abigoliah Schamaun

The University of Chichester is delighted to welcome comedian Joe Wells back to campus on 5 March for a live book reading and discussion.

Joined by his podcast co‑host Abigoliah Schamaun (as seen on Celebrity Pointless), the pair will take to the stage at the Showroom, Bishop Otter Campus, from 7pm for an evening of stand‑up, conversation and celebration of the many different ways people experience the world.

The event blends comedy with thoughtful discussion, offering what the performers describe as “a joyful, honest look at the moments when your brain doesn’t quite follow the script – and why that’s something to celebrate.”

Josie Maitland, Senior Lecturer in Education and Co-Lead of the University’s Staff Neurodiversity Group, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Joe and Abigoliah to Chichester. Their work resonates deeply with our commitment to neuro‑affirmative practice, inclusion and the amplification of diverse voices. It promises to be an evening full of humour, insight and community spirit. Staff and students are warmly invited, everybody is welcome.”.

Save the date and join us for a night of laughter, connection and thought‑provoking conversation.  Further information and booking: https://theshowroomchichester.co.uk/whats-on/joe-wells-abigoliah-schamaun/.
