Singapore visit boosts international collaboration for University of Chichester

International collaboration was on the agenda as senior leaders from the University of Chichester visited Singapore and Malaysia to consolidate partnership agreements that span from franchising all the way to dual degrees with reputed partner Colleges and Universities.

The Vice Chancellor, Professor Symeon Dagkas, joined Professor Antonina Pereira, Executive Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities and Director of Education Policy, Quality and Partnerships Katie Akerman to visit partners in Singapore and Malaysia to sign and recruit to its TNE programmes.

During the trip the team visited Aventis Graduate School, ERC Institute, Shelton College and LSBF (London School of Business & Finance) to enable and extend existing provision with partners.

Professor Dagkas said: “It was a pleasure to visit our partners in Singapore and Malaysia this week. We had some very positive discussions extending Chichester’s footprint in South East Asia delivering franchise and dual degrees in various languages, which is very exciting and reflects our commitment to high quality accessible UK higher education.”

An inspiring visit to Aventis Graduate School focused on expanding the partnership into doctoral-level accreditation, and meeting Executive MBA students to hear about the supportive learning environment Chichester provides.

Professor Dagkas added: “Meeting colleagues at LSBF (London School of Business & Finance) in Singapore and Malaysia offered a valuable opportunity to reflect on the scale and ambition of our collaboration. The breadth and diversity of programmes we are delivering together is outstanding, spanning Counselling, Psychotherapy, Digital Marketing, MBAs, Sport Business Management, Business Psychology, Education and Childhood Studies.”

This expansion is a powerful step forward in building globally recognised, professionally accredited opportunities for learners around the world.
