University of Chichester strengthens international ties with new dual degrees in Malaysia

 

An exciting new partnership with SEGi University in Malaysia will allow the University of Chichester to deliver dual award degrees in Engineering, Education, Psychology and Business overseas. The international collaboration with SEGi University and Colleges was signed in a formal ceremony hosted by SEGi University during a planned visit to Malaysia by senior leaders from the University.

Professor Symeon Dagkas, Vice Chancellor of the University of Chichester said: “This partnership unlocks exciting opportunities for students across both our institutions, including greater global accessibility to inclusive education and innovative research collaborations. We are incredibly proud of this step forward in our international mission and deeply grateful for the warm welcome received in Malaysia this week.”

The Vice Chancellor joined Professor Antonina Pereira, Executive Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Director of Education Policy, Quality and Partnerships Katie Akerman to visit partners in South East Asia to discuss the University’s ambitions for international growth.

The University of Chichester currently delivers dual degrees in collaboration with vibrant international partners in countries including Australia and Thailand, allowing overseas students to benefit from a high quality, internationally-recognised education.

The new partnership with SEGi is a powerful step forward in building globally recognised, professionally accredited opportunities for learners around the world.
