- Eligibility

- This prize draw is open to prospective undergraduate students who attend a 2025 University of Chichester Open Day ( Saturday 21st June 2025, Saturday 11th October 2025, Sunday 26th October 2025 or Saturday 22nd November 2025).
- Entrants must have submitted a UCAS application by the January UCAS deadline to study a full-time undergraduate degree course at the University of Chichester for the Academic Year 2026/2027.
- This prize draw is not open to current students at the University of Chichester, employees of the University, their immediate families, or anyone professionally connected with the administration of this prize draw.
- Only one entry per prospective student per academic year, regardless of how many Open Days are attended.

- The Prize

- The prize is equivalent to the monetary value one year of standard single, on campus, ensuite, self-catered University of Chichester accommodation for the 2026/27 academic year (around £7371). This includes the room rental fees only, for a period equivalent to the standard University of Chichester Licence Agreement (39 weeks).
- The specific hall of residence and room type will be allocated by the University at its sole discretion in line with the published Allocation Policy, subject to availability and the winner's confirmed enrolment. The prize money amount will automatically deduct from their accommodation invoice; if the student is allocated and accepts accommodation over the prize amount they would need to fund the difference.
- The prize does not include: catering, utility bills (if not already included in standard rent), personal expenses, travel costs, books, course materials, tuition fees, or any other costs associated with university study or living.
- The winner will still be required to sign a Residential Licence Agreement and adhere to all the terms and conditions therein.
- The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and there is no cash alternative. It cannot be exchanged for any other prize, services, or a reduction in tuition fees.
- If the winner defers their entry to the University or withdraws their application, the prize will be forfeited and will not be carried over to a future academic year.

- How to Enter

- To enter, prospective students must attend a 2025 University of Chichester Open Day (Saturday 21st June 2025, Saturday 11th October 2025, Sunday 26th October 2025, Saturday 22nd November 2025) and successfully register their attendance on the day via the official registration desk/process.
- Entries will be automatically generated from the official Open Day registration records for all eligible attendees.
- No purchase is necessary to enter this prize draw.

- Prize Draw Period

- The prize draw period runs from Saturday 21st June 2025 to Saturday 22nd November 2025.
- Entries received outside this period will not be eligible for the draw.

- Winner Selection
-

- Two winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the prize draw period.
- The draw will be conducted by a verified random process, supervised by an independent person, and take place on Wednesday 28th January.

- Winner Notification and Claiming the Prize

- The winner will be notified by email and/or telephone (using the contact details provided at Open Day registration) within 5 working days of the draw taking place.
- The winner must respond to the notification and claim their prize within 14 calendar days of the initial notification date.
- Failure to respond within this timeframe, or if the winner is found to be ineligible, or declines the prize, will result in forfeiture of the prize. In such cases, the University reserves the right to draw an alternative winner in accordance with the selection process outlined in point 6.
- The winner will be required to provide proof of identity and eligibility (proof of age and confirmation of UCAS application).
- The prize is contingent upon the winner successfully enrolling and commencing their full-time undergraduate studies at the University of Chichester for the Academic Year 2026/2027.

- By entering this prize draw, you agree that if you are the winner, the University of Chichester may use your first name, town/county of residence, and image for promotional purposes in connection with the prize draw, including (but not limited to) social media, university website, prospectuses, and press releases.

- Any personal data relating to entrants will be collected and processed by the University of Chichester solely for the purpose of administering this prize draw and notifying the winner. This data will be handled in accordance with current UK data protection legislation (GDPR) and the University of Chichester's Privacy Policy.

- The University of Chichester reserves the right to void, cancel, suspend, or amend the prize draw and these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice, if circumstances beyond its reasonable control make it necessary to do so (e.g. unforeseen technical issues, force majeure).
- The University's decision regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The University accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, or delayed due to technical issues, network problems, server failures, or any other cause beyond its control.
- Insofar as is permitted by law, the University, its agents, or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury, or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize, except where it is caused by the negligence of the University. Your statutory rights are not affected.
- By entering this prize draw, all participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.
- This prize draw is governed by the laws of England and Wales, and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
