Complete your graduation booking form available on your ChiView Graduation page. This is to register your attendance, or non-attendance and request guest tickets and let us know about any special requirements you or your guests may have. Due to limited wheelchair seating available we can only arrange this for you if informed in advance.

Once you have submitted your form if you wish to make any changes please email us at

If you have paid for guest tickets but are not eligible to graduate a full refund will be given.

The deadline for registering your attendance for undergraduate ceremonies is Friday 28 June 2019 and for postgraduate ceremonies Friday 6 September 2019.

I cannot access my ChiView account

Your ChiView account can be accessed at

If you are unable to log in please follow the instructions on the ChiView screen or contact

I cannot access the online form, does that mean I am not eligible to graduate?

No, not necessarily. There are various reasons why you may not have access to the online form.

It could simply be that we are not yet aware of your potential eligibility to graduate and will therefore not have contacted you yet or created your graduation record (which enables you to access the online form).

If you haven’t received details or cannot access the online form and you believe that you are/will be eligible to graduate, please email with your name and student number immediately so that we can follow this up.

Graduands’ tickets

There is no charge for graduands’ tickets and there is no need to order this but you do need to complete your graduation booking form so that we know you plan to attend your ceremony.

Graduands’ seats will be allocated as part of the registration process on the day.

If you do not book your place, we will assume you do not wish to attend and your award will be conferred in your absence (graduate in absentia).

Guest tickets

When you register your attendance you’ll also be able to book a maximum of two guest tickets at £15 each. The guarantee of two guest tickets will only apply to purchases made prior to 28 June 2019 for undergraduate ceremonies and 6 September 2019 for postgraduate ceremonies. You will have to pay for them at the same time you complete your registration form as guest tickets cannot be reserved without payment.

All guest tickets are £15 each. Children under 2 do not need a ticket providing they are seated on an adult’s lap.

Pay for your guest tickets (a maximum of two), please do not pay for any additional guests tickets requested at this stage as these are subject to availability.

There is no free allocation of tickets and all guest tickets have to be paid for in advance. You will need to have confirmed your own attendance before purchasing guests tickets.

Children’s tickets

If your guests include young children or babies, please indicate this on the graduation booking form so that we can ensure they are seated near an exit.

Pushchairs and buggies are not permitted into the auditorium at Chichester Festival Theatre.

Additional tickets

Additional guest tickets are subject to availability and cannot be purchased at this stage. Any additional tickets will be allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis from the date you completed your form and paid for your initial allocation of guest tickets. The earlier you book and pay for your initial tickets allocation the higher up the waiting list you will be.

Once the ticket booking deadline has passed we will assess the amount of spare tickets available for each ceremony. We will email you between 15 and 19 July 2019 for undergraduate ceremonies and between 23 and 27 September 2019 for postgraduate ceremonies to let you know if your application has been successful. You will be able to pay for any additional tickets at this stage. Please do not pay for additional tickets until we let you know that your application has been successful.

We always do our best to accommodate as many guests as possible but additional tickets cannot be guaranteed and any advance arrangements regarding your party’s travel or accommodation are made at your own risk.

Special requirements

If you or any of your guests have any special requirements, please indicate this on the graduation booking form, so that we can allocate appropriate seats. Please note that the venues have limited seating for those in wheelchairs or who need easy access; we cannot guarantee that we can meet your needs if you do not let us know by Friday 28 June 2019 for undergraduate ceremonies and Friday 6 September 2019 for postgraduate ceremonies.

Guest ticket collection

Tickets will not be sent in advance. They will be available for collection on the day of your ceremony.

Please do not contact the venue prior to your ceremony regarding your guest tickets, they cannot be collected in advance.

You will receive a receipt via email for tickets purchased online, please bring this with you to your ceremony.

If you misplace this the team on the ticket collection desk will have a record of payments with them.
