Why Chichester?

Why Chichester?

“I have absolutely loved my three years at The University of Chichester. I’ve made so many amazing memories and feel ready to step into the working world!”

Here are some of the main reasons I chose to study at the University of Chichester:

1. Small Class Sizes

This allows you to have more tailored support from lecturers, and there’s more time for one-to-one tutorials and invaluable assignment feedback. This really helped me reach my full academic and creative potential in all my assessments.

2. Academic, Wellbeing, and Careers Support

Chichester offers a wide range of academic, careers, and support services, which are a great asset to the wider university community.

These free services made my university experience transformational and well-rounded across my three years of studies.

3. Location

The two campuses have great locations, and the local area is full of amazing places to explore, for example, Trundle Hill, Arundel, West Witterings, Chichester Cathedral, Bognor Regis beach, and many more.

4. Facilities

The Uni has amazing facilities on both campuses. The Tech Park in Bognor Regis is home to the Creative Industries and Engineering departments.

The state-of-the-art equipment replicates an industry setting perfectly and inspired me to pursue my passion outside of the classroom.

5. Community Environment

The Chichester community is so welcoming and made me feel safe and nurtured from my first day on campus. The smaller student population made making friends so much easier and there’s a real community feel on-campus.

6. Teaching Quality

The teaching quality at Chichester is incredible. My lecturers were all super passionate about their subjects and their enthusiasm and knowledge is infectious.

The smaller class sizes also means lecturers always know you by name which makes lecturers feel more personal and engaging.

Chichester Uni also guarantees students accommodation in their first-year. This is so reassuring and takes away a lot of unnecessary stress.
