Charity Fundraiser Stand Up Comedy

Join us at The Showroom for a night of stand up comedy. Headlined by Joe Wells, this event is raising money for Abilities for Life and the SAND Project.
Joe and his wife are having a baby. He’s autistic so statistically it’s quite likely the baby will be too. In this new show, critically acclaimed comedian Joe Wells explores fatherhood through the lense of neurodiversity.
Plus, there’s a really good joke about a parrot.
Joe Wells made his name as a political comedian with critically acclaimed Fringe shows including ‘Night Of The Living Tories’, ‘10 Things I Hate About UKIP’ and ‘I Hope I Die Before I Start Voting Conservative’, in recent years he has found online and live success with more personal material about mental health and being autistic. Joe is a favourite amongst other comedians and has supported Frankie Boyle, Alexei Sayle and Stephen K Amos.
As seen on:
Rosie Jones’ Disability Comedy Extravaganza,
BBC Two’s Ouch Storytelling Live and
Channel 4’s Jokes Only a Neurodivergent Can Tell.
