Magdalena van der Passe & Ovid’s Metamorphoses
Poetry and art collide in this experimental exhibition inspired by engravings depicting scenes from Ovid’s Metamorphoses, most notably by 17th-century artists Magdalena van der Passe, Sebastien Le Clerc and Francois Chauveau.
Expect sudden shifts from ancient verse to early modern images and modern voices reinterpreting the past.
This event runs from 12 May to 21 September at the Learning Resource Centre, University of Chichester, from 9:00am to 4:00pm most days.
