Chris Rogers

Chris leads the Recruitment and Outreach team, coordinating our attendance at events and our work with schools and colleges and is responsible for working with specific departments to maximise recruitment opportunities.

Chris joined the University in 2016 having always worked with young people starting out his career as a youth worker managing projects and buildings working with open access and targeted groups of young people. During this time he studied for his Fda in Youth Work at the University of Southampton.

Chris previously worked in schools and also has a background in working with young people with special educational needs and disabilities and those leaving care.

Chris now leads the Outreach and Recruitment team in developing and delivering the universities recruitment and outreach activity with schools and colleges. He can regularly be seen at careers events, delivering workshops and talks supporting students to maximise their potential throughout the university application process.
