About
Dannii is an experienced Senior Leader with a professional background in Social Work and Systemic Practice. She has extensive experience of working with a varied portfolio across the public sector systems, with a focus on multi-agency working, and working with Central Government leading on innovation projects.Â
Dannii started her career working with children in residential care homes in 2003, and as a social services assistant in a statutory young person’s support and leaving care service in 2005. Since then, Dannii’s career has spanned across the statutory children’s teams in Local Government as a Social Worker, Team Leader, Service Manager, and more recently a Senior Leader. Most of her career has been on the south Coast within Safeguarding (Child Protection and Court Teams, child trafficking and exploitation), with experience across Care Experienced / Leaving Care, and Adult Mental Health Teams. Prior to her new position with University of Chichester, Dannii was the Head of Service for Children We Care for in Portsmouth City Council, overseeing innovation projects, Children in Care, Care Leavers, unaccompanied Asylum Seekers, Fostering, Adoption and Residential Children’s homes.
 Dannii is passionate about Social Work and has particular interest in family safeguarding, restorative practices, innovation projects, resilience in social work, and inclusion and diversity. She is excited to join the team at Chichester.
Qualifications
Dannii gained an MA in Advanced Professional Practice at University of Chichester 2019, and qualified in Social Work through Portsmouth University 2010.
Social Work England registered.
Degree Apprenticeship Coordinator for Social Work.
