Emily Lade

Emily studied Politics and Sociology at the University of Surrey, where she later worked in the Widening Participation team after graduating, applying relevant knowledge and skills acquired in her degree.

She joined the Outreach Team at Chichester in September 2025, in a role split across two teams, Academic Quality and Standards Service and Outreach. With AQSS, she is developing and managing a peer mentoring scheme for first-year students designed to close attainment gaps for specific groups of students.

With the Outreach Team she is leading on creating and delivering a progressive programme for secondary school students from widening access backgrounds, designed to raise GSCE attainment and allow students to make informed and empowered decisions about their future education.
