About

Lianna is a lecturer in primary education and teaches on the professional studies modules.

Experience:

Lianna has experience as a class teacher with a specialism in early years and as a subject leader for English. She also draws upon her experience as a deputy headteacher within an all through school where she held responsibility for assessment and pupil progress in addition to mentoring newly qualified teachers.

More recently, Lianna has supported educators in settings across the county in an advisory role promoting positive behaviour, inclusion, pupil well-being and parental engagement.

Lianna has a background in Psychology and uses this to inform her practice.

Interests:

Lianna is interested in how psychological theory and knowledge of child development can inform classroom practice.
