Rebecca Warke

Senior Lecturer | 01243 813512

Rebecca joined the department in the summer of 2012 as a senior lecturer in physiology. Her main career interests include health & fitness within a range of age groups, alongside performance enhancement.

Rebecca works within the three undergraduate physiology modules, delivers modules in research methods, primary level motor learning and development, and within the analysis of movement for adventure education on the BA (Hons) Physical Education and Sports Coaching, BA (Hons) Physical Education in the Primary Years, and BA (Hons) Physical Education in the Secondary Years undergraduate degrees.

Rebecca also delivers environmental exercise physiology and analysis of movement for the BA (Hons) Outdoor and Adventure Education degree.

Becky currently holds a PGCE, as well as a MSc in Sport and Exercise Physiology, during which she furthered her interest in performance profiling, specifically within Thai boxing.

Rebecca enjoys the opportunity to utilise her undergraduate degree and past coaching experience to deliver modules on the Outdoor Adventure Education degree, whilst simultaneously and predominantly playing a role in enthusing the role of health and fitness within the physiology route ways in Physical Education.
