Since leaving the Royal Academy of Music where he studied the flute with Gareth Morris on the post-graduate advanced course, Ben has divided his time between teaching and freelance orchestral playing.  He has worked with the Birmingham Royal Ballet Orchestra, the D’Oyley Carte Opera Orchestra and the Bournemouth Sinfonietta, and also has extensive experience in solo and chamber performances of Baroque and 20th Century Music.
