About
Gordon is a Design Consultant with a wide range of experience across the various design and engineering disciplines. The variety and context of the projects and products that he has been involved in are testament to his depth of knowledge, skill, creativity and innovation that he brings to the table. The design context and spread of products he has been involved with range from; the design of electronic enclosures, the design of the Backbliss www.backbliss.com, Bomber cups and packaging for Entice Innovations Ltd www.ent-ice.co.uk , high end leather goods, award winning stair rails for children, exercise equipment and the engineering and design of key components used in automotive industry for the transportation of engines from production line to assembly plant anywhere in the world. Gordon’s education in engineering design is a life time quest and he was lucky enough to study at the renowned Central Saint Martin’s College or Art and Design, London.
He is also an academic sharing his experience and design philosophies by lecturing various design cohorts across various universities here and overseas. He has adapted his design knowledge and experience to teach across a broad portfolio of design and engineering subjects. He has expertise in CAD inclusive of both additive and subtractive manufacturing. In 2013 he was invited to help design, write and implement the strategy and philosophy for a new Industrial Design degree course at Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia.
