Hazel Rumsey

About

Hazel specialized in child and family and mental health for 17 years.  More recently, she has been a director in the NHS with responsibility for Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services and Learning Disability Services in both Sussex and Berkshire.

Hazel has been employed by local authorities, the NHS and higher education, in addition to teaching at the university.  She is particularly interested in working across agency boundaries and developing professional training.

She is in practice as an independent social worker involved in assessing families applying for foster care and special guardianship orders.
