About
Maria is the Professional Resilience Module Coordinator within the Music Department at the University of Chichester.
Maria has been involved in the world of personal development and wellbeing for over twenty years. She is passionate about wellbeing and the joy of building resilience because of the many benefits this brings. Maria has used many of the methods and techniques within the Professional Resilience module to strengthen her own health and wellbeing.
Along with her role at the University of Chichester, Maria runs workshops and retreats across Sussex, she draws on her diverse background and experience to provide well rounded programmes, using mind and bodywork, to bring about a greater sense of balance in our lives. Maria continues her studies in yoga, mindfulness and psychology, for Maria the learning never stops.
Previously, Maria’s passion from an early age was dancing, she studied at the Laban, but as a result of injury and illness her career aspirations were cut short. Maria re-trained and has worked in publishing, private health and the charity sector before leaving the world of accounting Maria headed a finance team in local government.
