Rob Westwood

Rob studied song writing at BIMM and then went onto Chichester University to study Jazz Piano with ‘Jazz Musician Of the Year’ award nominee Nick Reynolds. After graduating with a BA Hons in Music, Rob became the residential Jazz Piano accompanist at Chichester University.  

Rob continued his work at the University after winning a bursary award from Funtington Music Group; running workshops and taking part in wider participation programmes including organising the summer school ‘Chi Rocks’. 

Rob has performed professionally for many bands across the UK and abroad. His claim to fame is recording at the legendary Pinewood studios and playing live on BBC radio London. Rob is passionate about live performance and has played in a number of concerts for the fantastic charity organisation the Snowdrop Trust.
