Sally is the Co-ordinator for Professional Studies

EXPERIENCE

Sally taught in Hampshire for seventeen years, during which time she spent eight years as a deputy headteacher and some time in the role of acting headteacher. She has experienced a number of OfSTED inspections and managed a range of subjects including SEN.

Sally has run numerous CPD courses for teachers in D&T, as well as lecturing in this subject for a brief time.  She published a book on Food Technology and delivered INSET training to schools in this area.  Sally completed her MAEd in 2001 and NPQH in 2004.

INTERESTS

Sally has a keen interest in the approaches to learning and teaching, in particular creativity and its role in primary education. Science and children’s misconceptions of concepts is also a field of interest.
