Thomas H Green

Associate Lecturer for Music

Thomas H Green has been a working journalist for over twenty years. Specializing in popular music and film, he currently writes regularly for the Daily Telegraph, Mixmag and (which he co-founded in 2009).

He is a member of the Brit Awards Academy and has written one book, Rock Shrines (Harper Collins, 2010). Since 2010 he has also been the force behind Synthesize Me, the club/concert night devoted to electronic music of all eras, and has put on events featuring Wolfgang Flür of Kraftwerk, the BBC Radiophonic Workshop, and others.

Thomas H Green’s career rose with global rave culture in the 1990s and he is an authority on electronic music and the history of club and festival culture, as well as writing, lecturing and consulting more widely on music, media and the arts.
