To ensure safety, minimise disruption, and protect the privacy of our community, all internal filming activity must be approved in advance by the Film Requests team.
Risk Assessment forms can be downloaded and completed from this link.
When completing the form, please include all locations, times, dates and a Police Reference Number if using fake firearms/weapons in view of the public (this includes university campuses).
Once completed, please email the Risk Assessment form and any other relevant information to filmrequests@chi.ac.uk.
This request will then be checked by Campus Safety, and the Health & Safety department will review the Risk Assessment, at which stage you may be contacted to make certain changes or additions to your application.
Campus Safety will then authorise/decline the proposed location and disclose this in a final filming authorisation email that will come from filmrequests@chi.ac.uk.
The final authorisation will look like the table below. Only once this is received is filming permitted to take place.

If you have any follow-up questions or concerns, please email filmrequests@chi.ac.uk.
