Dr Ian Tyndall

Reader in Cognitive Psychology

Dr Tyndall is one of the UK’s leading academics on behaviour analysis and psychological distress. He investigates therapies which can help people cope with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Recently, he published research on the sexual habits of over-45s. 

Areas of expertise include:
  • Sexual health of over-45s.
  • Behaviour and psychological distress – and its impact on health and emotional wellbeing.
  • Increasing acceptance of breastfeeding in public.
