Why you should work at the University of Chichester

Pension schemes

University staff are auto-enrolled onto either the Teachers' Pension or Local Government Pension Schemes, depending on their role.

Generous holiday allowance

All university staff receive 25 to 35 days holiday each year, as well as all Bank Holidays and Christmas closure dates.

Complete the application form

Once logged in, you will be taken to the 'Application Summary' page.

While completing the form, there are icons that alert you to incomplete sections.

Submit your application

Once you are happy with your application form, click the 'Apply' button on the right-hand side of the screen. You will be taken to a new page.

It is very important that you click 'Continue' on this page for your form to be submitted.

You will receive an email notification to confirm that your application has been successfully submitted.

Since 2015 the University has been a subscriber to Vitae, the national researcher development organisation who oversee the Researcher Development Framework.

Bishop Otter campus - Chichester

Our Bishop Otter Campus in Chichester is set in beautiful surroundings with plenty of relaxing green space and a combination of attractive, historic buildings and excellent modern facilities.

Back in 1839, the campus was founded by William Otter, Bishop of Chichester. 180 years later, the University still retains a strong sense of history as original parts still remain.

Bognor Regis campus

Situated just five minutes from the sea, our Bognor Regis Campus boasts the flagship £35m Tech Park, which is home to our Engineering and Design and Creative Industries Departments.

In addition, we have beautiful Georgian architecture including three grand mansion houses amongst our other modern teaching facilities.
