About
Rob has been a cameraman, director and actor for 25 years working across a variety of television and film genres including observation documentary, sport, undercover filming and drama.
As a co-founder of The Big Issue Film Unit in the mid-90s, Rob was responsible for shooting in-house social, political and cultural pieces for the homeless magazine and was hired out as a news and features stringer for Bloomberg TV.
In a career move to ITV and Granada, Rob worked as a multi-skilled documentary filmmaker. When Rob went freelance, he tried my hand at indie drama, directing one drama feature and taking a lighting cameraman role on another film starring Tom Hardy, Danny John-Jules and Tamer Hassan.
Prior to joining the Creative & Digital Technology team, Rob worked as a self-shooting director on police observation documentaries and consumer series for BBC Studios.
