Tracy May is the Faculty Administration and Operations Manager for the Faculty of Performing Arts and Creative & Cultural Industries. Having joined the University in 2004, she brings more than 30 years of administrative and operational experience, alongside a genuine passion for supporting people and helping organisations thrive.

Over the years, Tracy has built extensive knowledge of the University and has worked across a wide range of areas, developing a reputation for her collaborative approach, problem-solving mindset, and unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality support. She enjoys working with colleagues across academic and professional services teams to create effective processes, find practical solutions, and ensure staff and students have the support they need to succeed.

Tracy is particularly passionate about the creative and performing arts and takes great pride in supporting a Faculty that nurtures talented students and helps them realise their ambitions. She values the strong sense of community within the University and believes that positive relationships, teamwork, and a willingness to embrace new ideas are at the heart of a successful working environment.

What Tracy enjoys most about her role is the variety it brings. No two days are ever the same, and she relishes the opportunity to work with dedicated colleagues, contribute to meaningful projects, and play a part in helping students make the most of their university experience.

With more than two decades at the University of Chichester, Tracy remains committed to continuously improving the services and support provided by the Faculty, helping to create an environment where creativity, learning, and excellence can flourish.
