Sport at Chichester

All our facilities are designed for academic teaching, research, British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) competitions and social/recreational use for our students, our staff and our local community.

Our University’s world class Tudor Hale Centre of Sport allows for all your sporting needs; academically, competitively or recreationally. Whether you want to use top of the range equipment to facilitate your learning, improve your health and wellbeing in our modern fitness suites, gain sports and exercise qualifications, enjoy social activity with friends or represent your University; there is no better place to enjoy your University sport experience.

We have over 40 teams entered into the British Universities & College Sport (BUCS) with three teams in their respective South Eastern Premier leagues playing Universities such as Bath, Gloucestershire and Hertfordshire. Within each sports club, there are opportunities for all including sports media officers, sports therapists, creating links with local sports clubs, hosting fundraising events and the chance to run your own club.

In July 2017, we became an FA Centre of Excellence for Women’s Football.
