Open-access PCs

Study where you feel most comfortable

All of our open access PCs are the latest all-in-one models, designed to maximise both desk space and flexibility.

We provide high speed internet access with the Learning Resource Centres, communal areas and all teaching spaces all Wi-Fi enabled.

Our PCs have a wide range of software to support your studies, and your account will give you access to email-for-life, plus generous network and internet storage for your files.

We also have a PC booking system, which allows you to reserve the machine you need in whatever study zone (Group, Quiet or Silent) you want to work.

Student working on a computer

Bishop Otter campus

There are PCs available throughout the Learning Resource Centre, with an open access study area available on the ground floor near Costa Coffee, the Creative Hub and the SIZ.

A specific area for silent study, with PCs available, is located on the second floor, and there are PCs available on the first and second floor landings and throughout the library area.

We also have two Mac rooms for students preferring to use them.

Bognor Regis campus

At the Bognor Regis Campus, extensive open access facilities are available in the Learning Resource Centre in the group study, quiet study and silent study zones.

There are also four group study booths equipped with large display screens for use with laptops.  In the Dome, there is another open access room.

Printing

Pick up printing at your convenience

Printers are available on both campuses, located in corridors, the Learning Resource Centres and many other locations.

Our "follow-me" service means you can send your work to print and then pick it up at your convenience from any printer you choose.

The machines also offer scanning to email or a memory stick, as well as photocopying.  Print credits can be purchased from self-service machines in the Learning Resource Centres.

The PrintShop

A wide range of high quality and specialised printing at competitive prices is available through the PrintShop.

These services can be used for your student work as well as any other personal or commercial printing needs.

The Loans Counter is located in the Academic Building at Bishop Otter campus, complete with it's own loading bay to help when you're collecting or returning kit.
