Graduation

This year’s Graduation ceremonies will be held on 4 and 5 October at Chichester Festival Theatre’s Theatre in the Park.

If you think you are eligible to attend graduation and have not received an invitation please email graduation@chi.ac.uk with your name, student number, subject and the postal address of where you would like it sent.

Tickets

You will be able to purchase up to three guest tickets for your graduation ceremony. Tickets for children under 5 are free, but due to health and safety restrictions at the venue they must have a seat and will be included as one of your guests. Further information will be made available to you in your letter of invitation. There is no charge for graduands’ tickets, but guest tickets are £13 per person.

To let us know you are attending your graduation ceremony and pay for your guest tickets please complete your registration and ticket application form. A link to the online store is included in the form http://store.chi.ac.uk/. Please see the user guide to completing your registration and ticket application form. Please make sure that Student Records hold your most current address and email details.

On the day - step by step

  1. Register (see below) and collect your seat ticket from the Bishop Otter Campus, Chichester.
  2. Collect your gown from the Bishop Otter Campus.
  3. Official portrait photograph taken at the Bishop Otter Campus.
  4. Collect your programme from Chichester Festival Theatre's Theatre in the Park.
  5. Take your seat within the main auditorium 20 minutes prior to the ceremony start time.
  6. Return gowns to the Bishop Otter Campus.
  7. Finally celebrate with family and friends!

Registration

Before collecting your gowns, you must register at Bishop Otter Campus.

At registration you will be given your Theatre ticket with your seat row and number displayed. The ticket will also state the time by which you must take your seat in the Theatre. If you are late you may not be admitted into the Theatre. Failure to register or lateness will result in your name not being called at the ceremony and your certificate will be posted to you by Academic Registry.

You and your guests will be given a Programme as you enter the Theatre. Further copies of the programme will be available at the Graduation Information Point in the foyer of the Festival Pavilion.
